Top SchoolJan Elznic is a versatile Freelance Business Full Stack Engineer and long-time technology leader with 18+ years building high-performance web and mobile applications across frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure. He combines deep hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular, React, Node.js), Java, Go and Python with proven experience designing architectures, CI/CD and scalable systems on Azure, AWS and GCP. Jan has led and scaled engineering teams up to ~40 people, restructured tech organizations as CTO/Associate Director, and still enjoys shipping code—recently focusing on LLMs, chatbots, OCR and vector search integrations using Ollama, LangChain.js, LlamaIndex.js, pgvector and Qdrant. Equally comfortable mentoring developers or rolling up his sleeves for platform-level DevOps, he blends product-minded engineering with pragmatic cost and risk optimization learned from crisis-led reorganizations. Based in Prague, he pairs international delivery experience with a habit of teaching workshops and contributing to community projects like XChat.cz, showing a rare balance of leadership, hands-on craft, and community engagement.
