Top SchoolJan Seidl is a Principal Software Engineer and hands-on engineering leader with 11 years of experience building automation, data-first architectures, and cloud-native platforms across security and infrastructure domains. Currently a DevOps-focused principal at Auris One after leading engineering at Energostack and managing multiple teams at AVAST, he blends systems architecture, people coaching, and pragmatic migrations from legacy stacks to microservices and public cloud. He has deep operational experience with container platforms (Mesos, Kubernetes), backend systems in Scala, Rust and Python, and a practical knack for replacing brittle tech (e.g., retiring Perl and SMB storage) with scalable alternatives. Based in California and originally from Czechia, he combines a love of robotics, automation and AI with a track record of creating engineering ladders and team structures that deliberately grow talent as well as systems.
