Top SchoolJarupat Jisarojito is a Staff Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building high-performance database systems and cloud data services, currently based in Redmond and working at Databricks after a long tenure at Microsoft. He has led engineering and management efforts across SQL Server, Azure database offerings, and MySQL/PostgreSQL storage integrations, delivering measurable performance wins such as SIMD-accelerated bulk insert and storage-level aggregation pushdowns. As a Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft he balanced technical ownership with team leadership, shipping production features for SQL Server 2016/2019 and accelerating time-to-market for managed database offerings. He combines deep systems-level expertise with product-oriented execution, often owning design, implementation, and end-to-end testing for complex projects. A dual-background engineer with degrees from UNSW and the University of Washington, he brings a research-minded approach—evident from early computer vision and benchmarking work—to pragmatic engineering at cloud scale.
