Senior🎓
Top SchoolJaryl Sim is a founder and seasoned CTO with 11+ years bringing products from concept to market, primarily through his work at Tinkerbox and multiple early-stage ventures across Singapore. He blends hands-on engineering—comfortable as architect or coder—with strong product instincts, emphasizing TDD, CI/CD, and data-informed design to align stakeholders and reduce delivery risk. His experience spans e-commerce marketplaces, multi-tenant platforms, travel, government services, and retail POS systems where he applied DDD, CQRS and event-sourcing to solve offline and transactional challenges. Known as an indie hacker, he balances craftsmanship and operational pragmatism, having grown teams and engineering culture while still rolling up his sleeves on performance and scalability problems. An effective communicator and mentor, he also teaches and advises startups, bringing practical lessons from refactoring legacy Rails systems to launching UX-driven product iterations.
