Senior🎓
Top SchoolJason Pell is a Senior Software Engineer based in Greater Melbourne with over 20 years in IT and 13 years of focused professional experience delivering backend systems across ad tech, credit risk, consumer finance, telecommunications and education. He specializes in Java-centric architectures, Linux, PostgreSQL, Python and AWS, and has moved between hands-on development, architecture and technical team leadership roles. At Adnuntius he currently applies that breadth to ad tech platforms, following a long tenure at Veda Advantage where he shaped credit-risk systems and served as a CXF committer for the Apache Software Foundation. He combines deep legacy-Java expertise with modern cloud and automation practices, frequently bridging operational and architectural concerns. Unusually for someone with a humanities undergrad, he transitioned to IT with a graduate diploma and has maintained a steady trajectory from analyst programmer to senior architect and lead.
