Top SchoolJay Zalowitz is a serial founder and CEO with 13 years of experience building AI-driven products and cloud-native platforms that scale to millions of users. He leads Ramblist.com, which combines AI and human editors to democratize news reporting worldwide, and Leapstone AI, which blends large language models with humans-in-the-loop to reinvent sales outreach. Prior roles at Capital One, Sonder, and Fanatics show deep expertise in finops, cloud architecture, serverless systems, and cost-saving migrations that delivered tens of millions in annual savings. Jay pairs hands-on engineering (web dev, backend, infra) with product and go-to-market instincts—evidenced by founding HackerNoon and shipping growth pipelines that generated a third of sales leads at Rippling. He holds multiple patents in social media analysis and advertising methods, and is known for investing in production-grade AI infrastructure that can elevate novice writers to journalism-school levels. Based in San Francisco, he thrives on tackling high-impact problems where AI, cloud economics, and human workflows intersect.
