Top SchoolJayant Bhawal is a seasoned software leader and co-founder with 11 years of experience building developer-facing products and data-heavy front-end systems from Sunnyvale, CA. As CTO of Middleware, he’s focused on creating an “OS for Engineering Leadership” that surfaces team health and efficiency signals to help product engineering teams reduce operational turmoil. His background includes leading complex UI efforts at Uber Eats—shipping accessibility-first tools, geographic visualizations, RBAC, and compliance flows—and building internal platforms and component libraries at fast-moving startups like Shuttl. Jayant combines hands-on engineering (React, TypeScript, maps, tooling) with hiring and mentoring—he’s conducted hundreds of interviews and mentored numerous junior engineers. He maintains an active experimental and open portfolio (jayant.dev, GitHub: jayantbh) that reflects a curiosity for developer ergonomics and product-led engineering insights.
