Top SchoolJean-avit Promis is a seasoned freelance web developer and DevOps engineer with 11 years of experience delivering e-commerce and web platforms across PHP, Symfony, Magento and cloud-native tooling. Based in Bergerac, France, he blends hands-on infrastructure expertise (Docker, Ansible, AWS, CI/CD) with deep application knowledge from long-term Magento and Symfony projects for clients like Krys and Culture/SQI. He has progressed from full‑stack and Java/J2EE engineering to architecting containerized deployments and performance-focused operations, often owning both development and platform scaling responsibilities. Comfortable leading technical migrations, monitoring and marketplace integrations, he also brings a practical background in search and NoSQL (Elasticsearch, MongoDB) that helps optimize complex sites. Outside client work he prototypes solutions using Docker Swarm, GitLab/Drone CI and load-testing tools, reflecting a pragmatic, ops-minded approach to reliable delivery. His informal Github note—“life is like a rollercoaster”—hints at a collaborative, resilient mindset well suited to fast-moving projects.
