Senior🎓
Top SchoolJean Epitalon is a dedicated documentaliste based in Paris with 10 years of hands-on experience in indexing, archive management, digitization and research for major media and corporate environments. He has supported high-profile sports coverage—handling rushes, selecting footage and creating compilations for events like the Paris 2024 Olympics, Tour de France and upcoming international tournaments—bringing editorial judgment under tight deadlines. Comfortable across audiovisual and text resources, Jean combines systematic cataloguing and metadata work with on-the-ground sourcing and brief creation for productions. His background spans public and private sectors, from France Télévisions and Eurosport to Safran and Tractebel, demonstrating adaptability to both broadcast workflows and technical documentation needs. Rigorous, curious and reactive, he often bridges archival best practices with immediate production demands, ensuring content is both discoverable and broadcast-ready. Fluent in French media ecosystems, he brings a rare mix of event coverage experience and archival stewardship that anticipates future reuse.
