Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolJiawei Hong is a Site Reliability Engineer with eight years of software experience and a recent focus on AWS, Go, and Python. He rose quickly at startup Cooby from frontend to full-stack and backend roles, delivering measurable optimizations like a 53% faster frontend build and cutting Salesforce onboarding from one hour to 11 minutes in internal tests. He has hands-on SRE experience using Terraform to manage AWS resources and build reusable modules, and optimized Playwright testing on ECS Fargate to improve CI reliability. Now at IDEKU, he applies cloud-native practices to production reliability while retaining a pragmatic developer mindset from his full-stack background. Based in New Taipei, Taiwan, he pairs academic study at Fu Jen Catholic University with a hacker’s curiosity—summed up by his Github motto “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.”—that drives continuous, sometimes non-obvious efficiency gains.
