SeniorJinhwan Hyon is an Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect with 11 years’ experience designing enterprise-scale search and analytics platforms, currently focusing on AWS OpenSearch and generative AI at AWS in Seoul. He combines deep systems-level expertise from a decade at IBM—building DB2 compilers, advanced support, and mission-critical deployments—with cloud-native architecture skills to deliver scalable data lakes, ingestion pipelines, and high-performance query optimization. Known for translating complex analytics requirements into pragmatic, cost-effective designs, he guides customers through end-to-end data transformation and operationalization using AWS best practices. Jinhwan’s background in low-level database internals gives him a unique edge in performance tuning search and analytics workloads that most cloud architects lack. He also brings consultative leadership and hands-on delivery experience across the full SDLC, enabling measurable business outcomes for large enterprises. Outside of work his GitHub ethos—“crafting the future of privacy” —hints at a thoughtful approach to building systems that respect user freedom and data protection.
