Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoão Christ is a senior software engineer with over 8 years of professional experience and a two-decade-long hands-on history across backend and full-stack systems. Currently at Microsoft, he brings deep expertise in C#, Java/JavaEE, Spring, Vert.x and strong Python skills, complemented by front-end work in Angular, React and Vue. He has led architecture and release/change management in large public-sector projects at SERPRO and built distributed, Vert.x-backed solutions and CI/CD infrastructure. Comfortable across databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Linux ops dating back to the iptables era, he also explores functional languages like Haskell and Clojure for fun. Known for learning new technologies quickly, João combines pragmatic engineering with a long track record of adapting legacy stacks (VB6, ASP) into modern architectures.
