Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoel Juliano is a pragmatic software engineer with 15+ years building reliable backend systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and data platforms across government, enterprise and startups. He pairs deep Linux and infrastructure expertise (20+ years) with modern cloud and DevOps practices, and has led large migration and automation efforts that saved operational toil and improved uptime. Recently he’s focused on AI-enabled systems—shipping an open-source GenAI agent framework (kdeps) and production-ready RAG/LLM tooling—while retaining strong Go, Python and TypeScript backend chops. Notable outcomes include high-throughput payment and revenue-recovery platforms at DAZN and government-wide batch/identity automation at Belastingdienst. A naturalised Dutch engineer from the Philippines, he mentors others and sustains active open-source engagement, including a Homebrew tap and a visual editor platform for his agent framework. Continuously learning, he blends hands-on implementation with pragmatic system design to deliver auditable, secure solutions.
