Top SchoolJoel Oguntoye is a DevOps Engineer with nine years’ experience designing and automating cloud-native infrastructure, primarily across AWS and Azure, and deploying containerized workloads with Kubernetes and ECS/EKS. He has a strong track record reducing infrastructure costs and improving availability—implementing well-architected AWS solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and disaster recovery for both financial and enterprise environments. Joel combines hands-on tooling expertise (Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus, Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions) with on-prem to cloud migrations and security automation like GuardDuty and EventBridge. He also brings software development experience in Java, Kotlin and Python from Android and backend work, which helps him bridge dev and ops effectively. Based in Lisbon, he’s delivered measurable operational improvements—refactoring automation to cut admin time by half and instituting budgets/alerts that tightened cloud spend—while remaining active on GitHub building practical DevOps solutions.
