Top SchoolJoey Baldwin is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of full-stack experience, currently building scalable learning products at Curiosity Media within IXL Learning. He turns abstract ideas into production-ready web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, Java, Python, SQL and MongoDB, and has a track record of contributing to both microservice and monolithic architectures. Joey has driven product and architectural decisions at small startups and healthcare tech firms, and previously helped scale enterprise features at Equifax and maintain high-traffic systems at Snag. He combines practical hands-on coding with a researcher’s curiosity—evident from building an ERC-20 token on a private Ethereum network and an Electron-wrapped React app for geoscience data during his early work. Based in Charleston, SC, Joey pairs a Georgia Tech CS master’s with a habit of persistently seeking real-world experience to ship useful software.
