Top SchoolJoey Beninghove is a pragmatic lead software developer with three decades of hands-on coding experience, currently focused on AI agent workflows, trading systems, and SaaS product development. He co-founded and built the Rails backend for Cart66, scaled ecommerce for thousands of merchants, and has repeatedly driven TDD and engineering best practices across teams from startups to 10+ engineer enterprise projects. Today he splits time building trading indicators and algos, developing PropTruth to measure prop-trader ROI, and consulting on integrations and developer tooling for trading platforms. Comfortable across Ruby on Rails, C#/.NET, React/React Native, and PostgreSQL, Joey brings both product ownership and deep implementation skill to every project. He combines a builder’s mentality—still writing production code daily—with a mentor’s instinct, helping trading communities and engineering teams ship reliable systems. Based in Richmond, VA, he brings a quietly entrepreneurial streak and a long track record of turning niche domain needs (like PCI-compliant ecommerce and trading platform integrations) into robust, production-ready software.
