Top SchoolJoey Darbyshire is a Fullstack Software Developer with nine years of hands-on experience building web applications and supporting IT operations from Oak Park, Illinois. He blends frontend expertise in React, Vue, Typescript and SCSS with backend skills in Node, GraphQL and PostgreSQL, and has a history of shipping in-house business tools and client-facing sites. Comfortable toggling between developer and technician roles, Joey has improved security and workflows for small businesses while managing vendor relationships and onsite support. He thrives on learning—exploring Django, Docker, VR/Three.js and lower-level languages—and brings a practical curiosity that surfaces in cross-cutting improvements to systems and processes. Currently at Traction, he focuses on solving real problems collaboratively and delivering polished, maintainable solutions. His background in full-stack projects and IT operations gives him an unusual ability to bridge user needs, infrastructure constraints, and product delivery.
