Top SchoolJohannes Löthberg is a pragmatic back-end developer with 13 years of experience building and operating reliable server-side systems, currently developing fleet-management software at ELOKON Group from Gävle, Sweden. He brings deep Python and Go experience—demonstrated by contributions to high-profile open-source projects like Matrix Synapse and Arch Linux’s backend—plus practical DevOps skills from work on cjdns and Kubernetes migrations. His strengths are in payment and integration work (notably extending GoCardless/bank integrations for ActualBudget) and improving search, encoding, and networking robustness across diverse codebases. Former roles at Tele2 and Star Stable show a blend of system specialization and engineering automation, including Salt and custom Slack tooling for ops. He explicitly avoids crypto, blockchain, and AI-related work, preferring projects with clear product impact and operational clarity. Colleagues describe him as a detail-oriented problem solver who improves legacy systems while adding pragmatic new features.
