Top SchoolJohn Macaluso is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in UI/UX and design systems with 12 years of experience building front-end components and prototypes for both startups and enterprise products. At Infor he helps develop open-source front-end components that scale across products and partner integrations, blending engineering rigor with design sensibility. His background spans content-heavy CMS work, full-stack WordPress and Drupal front-ends, and modern JS workflows including Web Components, React, and SCSS. Comfortable in small cross-functional teams, he frequently moves between prototyping UX concepts and production-grade component development. Based in New York, he pairs a formal UX Immersive training with a history of practical, deliverable-focused roles that bridge visual design and engineering. Notably, he brings a consistent focus on reusable systems and accessibility-minded UI patterns that often go unseen in product codebases.
