Top SchoolJohnson Chou is a seasoned software engineer with 13 years of experience delivering front-end and full-stack solutions across fast-moving consumer tech and fintech organizations. Currently at Canva after recent roles at Binance and Shopee, he has led cross-functional teams, improved web performance by up to 50%, and streamlined operations to accelerate delivery. Comfortable translating user requirements into production-grade systems, he pairs hands-on engineering with strong cross-team communication and product sensibility. His background spans low-level device software to large-scale web apps, revealing an uncommon breadth from TI-OMAP bootloaders to modern frontend architectures. Based in Queensland, Australia, he brings a pragmatic, time-conscious approach—echoed in his GitHub maxim “You may delay, but time will not.”—to shipping high-impact features.
