Senior🎓
Top SchoolJon Turner is a versatile technologist with 11 years of experience blending software development, product ownership, and hands-on field operations in fiber and VoIP services. He has led migrations from legacy ColdFusion monoliths to modern Java microservices, introduced Scrum/Agile at Duke, and managed cross‑functional, offshore development teams while translating complex domain requirements into deliverable solutions. His background spans low-level real-time and device drivers to cloud-native APIs and data services, with practical inventiveness evidenced by patented metrology work and decades-long electronics and robotics hobbies. Customer-facing roles as a lead technician complement his analyst instincts, making him equally at home troubleshooting fiber installs or defining acceptance criteria for enterprise software. Based in Durham, NC, he pairs an entrepreneurial curiosity with strong people skills, often surfacing implicit customer needs before they’re articulated.
