SeniorJonathan Wong is a seasoned product and technology leader with 12 years of experience building consumer-facing digital products and trust-and-safety systems across Asia. Currently leading GenAI safety at ByteDance/TikTok, he oversees teams working on foundational model safety, red-teaming, SFT, prompt engineering and multimodal generative models. He has a strong track record shipping revenue-driving platforms and new business lines—from PPV and fan-engagement apps to Web3 loyalty products that minted 12K+ NFTs at a major international sporting event. Earlier roles at Microsoft, Rakuten Viki and Kuaishou show deep expertise in growth, ML-driven personalization, and global policy enforcement. Based in Beijing and Singapore, he blends operator instincts with engineering roots (Case Western Reserve, early full‑stack work) and a knack for turning experimental tech like blockchain and metaverse thinking into practical product launches.
