Top SchoolJorge Valdez is a visual-thinking technology leader and co-founder who has spent 11+ years bridging design and front-end engineering as COO of Octahedroid. With a Bachelor's in Media Arts and early roots in advertising, he pairs a purist, user-centered approach to visual communication with pragmatic engineering know-how. He has led and scaled web teams and startups—serving as CTO/cofounder and senior frontend developer across agencies and product shops—while consulting for cultural institutions like the Festival Internacional de Cine en Morelia. Jorge excels at translating designers’ graphic narratives into technically feasible solutions, keeping teams focused on measurable outcomes rather than aesthetics alone. Comfortable across modern front-end toolchains, he brings both entrepreneurial grit and a discipline for validating gut-driven design choices. Based in Guadalajara, Mexico, he continues to blend creative vision with operational leadership to push front-end practice to a more professional, process-driven level.
