Senior🎓
Top SchoolJørn Tangen is a Senior Software Engineer from Norway with 14+ years crafting full-stack systems, from React/TypeScript frontends to Rust-based blockchain tooling and on-chain integrations. He has led complex projects—most recently building a composable NFT reputation and rewards platform with Substrate, PolkadotJS, Rust, Node.js and bullmq—owning on-chain metric collection, message-queue driven minting, APIs and composable React components. As an early adopter of Node, React and TypeScript, he combines pragmatic functional programming principles with hands-on architecture for microservices, mobile apps and smart contracts. He also founders consumer-facing startups, including Glimt App (AI-powered podcast bookmarking) and a yoga education studio, reflecting a blend of product intuition and discipline from his yoga practice. Equally comfortable in low-level blockchain work and user-facing UX, he enjoys dabbling in Haskell and PureScript to explore elegant, type-safe designs.
