Top SchoolJose Urribarri is a Staff Software Engineer with 11 years of experience focused on Android platform engineering, currently leading cross-team delivery of complex features from Palo Alto. He combines deep mobile architecture and SDK design expertise with hands-on implementation of real-time communications (WebRTC) and third-party integrations like Twitch and YouTube. Jose has a track record of founding and shipping products—ranging from a streaming startup and a Venezuelan scarcity-mapping social app to reusable SDKs—and he brings that startup agility to larger teams. He mentors engineering practices, defines multi-step delivery plans for epics, and helps establish team norms that improve velocity and reliability. With nanodegrees in Android and Machine Learning Engineering and a BASc in Chemical Engineering, he blends analytical rigor with curiosity about ML applications on mobile. Colleagues would note his readiness to tackle “impossible” problems and turn them into impactful, user-focused products.
