Top SchoolJosef Kemetmüller is a Software Developer specializing in High Performance Computing with 11 years of experience building numerical and simulation software from research labs to industry. Based in Vienna, he develops performant scientific code at IMS Nanofabrication after earlier roles as a research scientist in numerical modelling at ZAMG and as a MATLAB integrator for magnetization dynamics at TU Wien. His MSc in Technical Mathematics (with distinction) underpins a strong foundation in numerical methods, algorithmic optimization, and large-scale number crunching—aptly summarized on GitHub as "1 number cruncher." He has a track record of translating mathematical models into production-ready simulations and tutoring programming, which gives him both deep technical skill and an ability to communicate complex concepts. Colleagues benefit from his pragmatic focus on performance and reproducibility in scientific computing.
