Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosef Lobotka is an executive tech lead and seasoned software engineer with nearly two decades of experience building secure, high‑availability systems across connected cars, fintech, and digital education. He combines hands‑on architecture and full‑stack implementation with product and business development, having led MotionPass to become a major tolling integrator in Europe and performed independent security and architecture reviews for large banks. Passionate about pragmatic, customer‑centric solutions, he has repeatedly delivered performance and cost improvements through scalable backend integrations, CI-driven front‑end design systems, and cloud migrations. Josef is equally comfortable mentoring teams and driving strategic hiring as he is writing APIs or designing disaster recovery plans, and he brings an uncommon blend of startup agility and enterprise process discipline honed from founding multiple ventures and advising global organisations. Based in Vancouver, he pairs technical depth in payments, connected vehicle tech, and UX-driven product design with a track record of turning complex stakeholder needs into production-ready, auditable systems.
