Top SchoolJosef Podaný is a software engineer with eight years of experience specializing in compilers, developer tooling and distributed systems, currently working at Fingerprint after a stint at Microsoft focused on compiler and tooling work. He has built infrastructure for geo-distributed key-value databases and developer tooling at Jamf and previously engineered distributed load-balancing systems at Seznam.cz. Josef combines strong theoretical foundations—holding a master's in theoretical computer science from Masaryk University—with hands-on production experience across backend, infrastructure and developer experience. Colleagues would describe him as a tooling-minded engineer who prefers solving problems by improving developer workflows and compiler pipelines rather than only adding features.
