Top SchoolJosh Freeman is a Site Reliability Engineer with 13 years of experience building cloud-native infrastructure and automation across UK-based businesses. He specialises in tailoring AWS environments for cost-to-performance optimisation, bespoke monitoring and alerting, and automation layers including Slack-integrated bots and self-service portals. At Loan.co.uk he converted the AWS estate to Terraform, implemented day/night scaling and a company-specific monitoring stack aggregating CRM, third-party and AWS signals to drive alerting and anomaly detection. He has a strong background in microservices, CI/CD and observability, pairing hands-on development (Python, Terraform, Docker) with developer-facing tooling to reduce friction. Now at Institutional Cash Distributors, he continues to focus on pragmatic reliability and cost-efficiency while supporting developer productivity. An early maintainer of large gaming data sites, he brings both production-scale ops experience and a knack for building practical, user-facing automation.
