Top SchoolJoshua Decosta is a Senior Principal Engineer in Boston with 11 years of experience building scalable, secure cloud-native systems at UnitedHealth Group, where he led greenfield IAM architecture and enterprise migrations to GitHub Actions. He blends hands-on engineering—Terraform, Keycloak, Helm, mTLS, Apache Pulsar—with product-minded collaboration across executive and platform teams to reduce costs, eliminate downtime, and accelerate delivery. Joshua is a practiced mentor and trainer who instituted onboarding and "Knowledge Gap" programs that sped team ramp-up and standardized security and permission models. He has a track record of operating high-throughput systems (12M+ daily transactions) and applying practical innovations from blockchain and IoT experiments to healthcare platforms. Notably, he pairs production-grade infrastructure design with an appetite for iterative building—he simply keeps building.
