Top SchoolJoshua Kearney is a Sr II Software Engineer with a decade of programming experience and a 2023 Rice University CS graduate who excels at modernizing legacy systems for cloud-native deployment. At Fiserv he has transformed large SQL-heavy codebases into C#, .NET 8, and EF Core microservices while building CI/CD, containerization, and robust testing practices. His background spans backend, frontend (TypeScript, Angular, React), DevOps, and cross-border collaboration with business partners, and he’s delivered end-to-end projects from analysis through production. Earlier research work at Rice produced a Nature Communications–published paper on error-prone COVID variant detection, showing he can move quickly from prototype to publishable results. He combines strong technical writing and presentation skills with a knack for translating complex domain logic into maintainable, testable code.
