Top SchoolJoshua Walters is a software engineer with 11 years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale data and analytics platforms across companies like Apple, Splunk, and Yahoo. He specializes in cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and low-latency analytics—having built automation and monitoring systems for Trino and Druid clusters as well as a process-mining and Real User Monitoring backend. His background spans Hadoop-era batch pipelines to modern containerized microservices, and he has published patents and presented at major conferences on big data processing. Based in San Diego, he combines hands-on implementation with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Helm, CI/CD) to reliably deploy and scale data services. A pragmatic problem-solver, he surfaces operational insight through tooling that ties application behavior to cluster utilization.
