Senior🎓
Top SchoolJota Vargas is a seasoned cybersecurity consultant and DevOps practitioner with 13 years of experience designing and hardening cloud-native and on-premise systems across AWS, Azure and GCP. He combines hands-on pentesting (web, APIs, AD, infra and cloud) with DevSecOps automation—building CI/CD pipelines, security-as-code and governance controls to reduce attack surface and operational risk. At Entelgy he has simulated advanced social engineering threats using generative AI deepfakes and maps findings to frameworks like OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK and CIS Benchmarks. He has also taught and developed cybersecurity curricula for early-career professionals, reflecting a talent for translating technical complexity into practical training. Equally comfortable writing detection and remediation playbooks or scripting bespoke tooling, he blends offensive security insight with pragmatic, automated defenses.
