Senior🎓
Top SchoolJuan González-vallinas is a CEO and seasoned data scientist with roots in computer science dating to 2006 and a PhD in bioinformatics, currently leading Multilayer while remaining hands-on with technical delivery. He combines MLOps/DevOps, professional web development, and analytics engineering experience—having built data platforms, dbt models, and productionized ML across gaming, fintech, and edtech clients. As a fractional CTO/CDO and Jupyter/Python instructor, he bridges academic rigor and pragmatic consulting, running experiments, A/B testing, and data strategy for fast-moving teams. Comfortable with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and modern generative/agentic tooling, he is candid about buzzwords yet deeply practical about deploying models. Colleagues value his gregarious leadership and rare mix of academic publications, research software (Pyicoteo), and product-focused engineering.
