Top SchoolJuan Imbet is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Université Paris Dauphine and a PSL Junior Fellow whose research sits at the intersection of Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, and Computational Finance. With eight years of professional experience and a PhD from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, he blends rigorous academic training—augmented by a visiting stint at Wharton—with practical modeling skills developed earlier as an operations research analyst in supply chain and inventory management. Based in Paris but raised in Bogotá, he brings an international perspective and dual engineering/economics background that informs his computational approach to financial problems. Juan’s work emphasizes quantitative methods and scalable computational tools, reflecting an uncommon combination of theoretical finance and hands-on algorithmic problem solving.
