Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJulien Barret is a seasoned front-end developer with 11 years of experience building rich, user-centered web experiences from Lyon, France. He specializes in modern JavaScript ecosystems—React, TypeScript, Next.js—and has driven design system work in ReScript at ARTE while integrating components across large-scale sites like arte.tv and 6Play. Julien combines hands-on implementation (HTML/CSS, Emotion, ThreeJS, GSAP) with architecture and ops experience—CI/CD, Docker, GCP—and a track record of migrating legacy modules and shaping scalable front-end platforms. As a tech partner and senior developer in agency and product settings, he estimates scope, mentors teams, enforces code quality, and helps translate creative visions into robust, testable deliveries. He’s comfortable across full-stack concerns (GraphQL, Prisma, serverless microservices) and has led video-platform engineering efforts including custom players and encoding orchestration. Pragmatic and detail-oriented, Julien often champions atomic design and MVP-first thinking to keep complex projects focused and shippable.
