Top SchoolJulien Delange is a Senior Staff Software Engineer with 14 years of experience building scalable infrastructure and product-focused systems, currently at Datadog after his startup Codiga was acquired in 2023. He founded Codiga — described as “Grammarly for code” — and has a track record of turning developer productivity innovations into production-grade products and acquisitions. Julien has led cross-functional teams at Twitter, AWS, and the European Space Agency, shipping revenue-driving features, large-scale monitoring and fleet management systems, and safety-critical embedded tooling. He combines deep academic roots (PhD-level work in real-time and embedded systems) with hands-on product engineering and entrepreneurial leadership. Based in New York, he also cultivates community and advisory roles, having launched regional tech initiatives and advised innovation networks. Colleagues would note his blend of rigorous formal methods background with a practical knack for automating developer workflows — and his GitHub bio’s playful “passe moi le shell” hints at a longtime love of low-level tooling and the command line.
