Summary
👤
SeniorJungin Jung is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of experience specializing in Linux, open-source platforms, virtualization, and large-scale cloud and big data infrastructure. Currently at LG CNS, he architects and operates enterprise big data platforms, drawing on prior roles building OpenStack/Ceph public cloud services, SDN/SDDC PoCs, and IaaS offerings for major Korean and global clients. He combines hands-on systems engineering (KVM/QEMU, OpenNebula, CloudStack, VMware) with automation and HA/DR design to prevent single points of failure and streamline service provisioning. His consulting work includes GreenPlum and Ansible-driven deployments for Samsung, and he has contributed open-source addons and cloud network designs used in production. Based in Texas but originally from South Korea, he blends pragmatic operational expertise with research-minded curiosity — his GitHub bio jokingly notes he’s “researching how to delete Mondays,” hinting at a playful focus on improving workflow efficiency.
