Top SchoolJustin Goney is a seasoned full-stack software engineer and founder with 13 years of experience building pragmatic, maintainable systems in Go, Python and modern JavaScript frameworks. He blends formal computer science with a humanities background—MAs in French philology and computer science—which informs his clear communication and user-focused engineering. Justin has shipped backend payment and security-sensitive services, consumer-facing web and mobile apps, and now designs digital Eurorack synthesizer modules as Founder and Chief Engineer at Ferry Island Modular. Comfortable across the stack, he repeatedly bridges product, UX, and compliance needs at startups and enterprises alike. A global citizen based in Helsinki, he brings atypical cross-cultural and teaching experience—once DJing while teaching in Japan—that helps him mentor teams and translate complex requirements into elegant code.
