Top SchoolJustin Powell is a software leader and founder with 13 years of experience building mission-driven technology and teams from Dallas, Texas. As Co-Founder & CEO of Neighbor Solutions, he applies hands-on engineering and product instincts to equip nonprofits serving people experiencing homelessness. His background includes progressive engineering and leadership roles at Watermark Community Church and OrgSync, where he worked across RoR, Node.js, ElasticSearch, Kafka and Redis to deliver reliable services. Justin combines product empathy with operational chops—having built internal CRMs, managed web infrastructure, and led external technology development for large ministries. He favors pragmatic, needs-first problem solving and brings a long-term perspective rooted in service: “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” This blend of technical depth, nonprofit focus, and a founder’s mindset makes him comfortable shipping both code and strategy.
