Senior🎓
Top SchoolKacey Lewis is a senior engineering manager specializing in design systems and frontend platforms with 12 years of experience building UI libraries, developer tooling, and large-scale frontend frameworks at companies like LinkedIn and Vanta. She combines hands-on technical leadership—driving framework upgrades, migrations, and multi-platform component libraries—with a people-first management style that emphasizes coaching, ownership of failure, and amplifying team success. Kacey has led cross-functional initiatives across web, iOS, and Android, chaired hiring committees, and regularly speaks at conferences and schools to share practical frontend and design-system knowledge. Based in Scotts Valley, CA, she balances technical rigor with creative roots from a background in interdisciplinary computing and visual arts, and is known for being a “nerdy roller mom” who champions inclusion through Women in Tech leadership roles. An organizer and educator at heart, she brings a rare mix of design sensibility, infrastructure experience, and community-building to platform engineering.
