Summary
👤
SeniorKacper Floriański is a Senior Software Engineer with eight years of experience delivering cloud-native and backend systems, currently driving engineering work at Veeam Kasten. He has strong Kubernetes and operator experience—developing and maintaining operators/operands in Go for OpenShift and vanilla K8s, and authoring a custom OpenTelemetry collector—alongside a history of building scalable Django backends and AWS infrastructure. His background spans startups and enterprise (YC-backed Kitchenful, SEEDiA.city, multiple roles at IBM), combining hands-on feature design, prototyping, and technical leadership including recruiting and acting as tech lead. He excels at translating product needs into pragmatic technical solutions, having led R&D, refactorings, CI/CD improvements, and customer-facing support in international settings. A lifelong learner who started programming game engines at 13, Kacper pairs curiosity with practical delivery and has repeatedly taken on cross-disciplinary challenges from robotics ROV systems to cloud operators. Based in Łańcut, Poland, he favors roles where deep engineering meets product impact and enjoys turning complex systems into reliable, operable software.
