Senior🎓
Top SchoolKai Tait is a Platform Engineer based in Brisbane with 11 years of hands-on full-stack experience spanning React, Node.js, Java, .NET, and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure). He’s shifted from building customer-facing microservices to shaping internal developer experience—creating Terraform-driven infra, DevOps pipelines, project templates, and containerised test environments to help teams ship consistently. Security-minded and pragmatic, he’s led live incident responses (including SSRF and S3 subdomain takeover exploits), runs both automated and manual testing, and documents practical best practices for engineers. His background across finance, healthcare, and retail gives him a strong appreciation for compliance and risk in production systems. Comfortable mentoring and bridging technical and business stakeholders, he brings leadership forged in hospitality, support, and distributed engineering teams. A generalist who picks up new tools quickly, he focuses on maintainable architecture and connecting gaps specialists often miss.
