Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolKai Wang is a founder and seasoned Android engineer with 12 years of experience building high-performance mobile products and leading engineering efforts from startup to scale. Based in Chengdu, he founded Sapiens8 and concurrently ships consumer apps that he independently designed and developed—six apps with over 5 million downloads and an average rating above 4.2—using Kotlin and Flutter. His corporate experience includes senior Android roles at Keep, Snowball Finance, and Baidu where he drove performance optimizations, trading and market features, and large-scale client modules that reduced crash rates and startup times. As Android Lead at Outblock and an active contributor to Android UI components (notably improving the WaveView animation and CPU profile), he blends hands-on optimization with maintainable architecture. He’s equally comfortable owning product design and overseas service integrations, a practical founder-engineer who turns user feedback into measurable improvements. An understated strength is his track record of shrinking app size and runtime costs while maintaining smooth UX at scale.
