Senior🎓
Top SchoolKanmi Obasa is a Senior SRE Performance Engineer with a decade of experience accelerating web systems and driving measurable Core Web Vitals improvements for companies like lululemon, MindGeek and Later. He blends hands-on front-end and back-end optimization—RUM/Lab analysis, tagging and analytics, performance budgets—with platform-level SRE practices to make sites faster and more reliable at scale. As founder of Ilare Press and a senior consultant at Knfrmd, he also launches content-driven products and AI projects targeted at Nigerian audiences, showing an unusual mix of performance engineering and entrepreneurial product-building. He’s known for translating technical audits into team-wide curriculum and processes, and for a pragmatic habit of rewriting (and sometimes throwing away) code to reach clearer, faster outcomes. Based in Vancouver, he pairs formal project management training with deep practical experience in web ops, analytics, and e-commerce performance.
