Top SchoolKanyes Thaker is a founder and applied autonomy leader with 8 years of experience building production AI and robotics systems, currently co-founding Hyper (YC P26) out of San Francisco. He previously led motion planning at Matic Robots, shipping on-device algorithms and a flagship edge cleaning feature with sub-centimeter obstacle clearance in adversarial home environments. Before that he was an Applied ML Engineer at Snorkel AI, driving enterprise deployments and redesigning core SDK components that secured multimillion-dollar renewals. Kanyes combines deep algorithmic expertise (SLAM, 3D mapping, motion planning) with product-driven execution across embedded, cloud, and customer-facing stacks. A UC Berkeley CS & Math graduate, he bridges research and real-world impact—often owning both core technical design and the cross-team effort to bring it to market.
