Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolKarel Rochelt is a pragmatic engineering leader with 8 years of experience who currently heads Software Engineering at Amio, driving full‑stack development and microservices architecture from Prague. His early work at AuthenTec and Apple gave him deep, low‑level expertise—developing kernel extensions, Secure Element firmware and TouchID test infrastructure—which informs his pragmatic approach to security and systems design. At Amio he blends hands‑on coding with team leadership and architectural decisions, owning “everything else related to software development.” Colleagues describe him as someone who seeks new challenges and prefers solving hard technical problems over handing them off. He combines production firmware/security background with modern cloud and microservices practices, making him comfortable across the stack and lifecycle.
