🤩
RockstarKaren Chu is a product manager and open source community builder with 10 years of experience shaping developer ecosystems for cloud-native technologies. She has led community strategy and program execution at Microsoft Azure, Fermyon, and Apple’s OSPO, and serves as a CNCF Ambassador and Helm community manager. Karen blends marketing, developer relations, and product instincts to drive adoption—creating campaigns, events, educational content, and processes that scale developer engagement on modest budgets. A repeat conference speaker, program committee contributor, and co-creator of the CNCF Phippy children's series, she brings a rare mix of storytelling, design sensibility, and operational rigor to OSS governance and outreach.
