SeniorKarim Elsayed is a Senior Software Engineer with 10 years of experience specializing in Android and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM), currently based in Frankfurt. He has driven high-impact features for the Adidas app (10M+ downloads), built cross-platform KMM solutions like Copernicus, and cut app startup times from 10s to 0.2s by addressing heavy I/O and database bottlenecks. Equally comfortable leading greenfield projects and modernizing legacy code, he consistently eliminates tech debt and implements scalable architectures and comprehensive testing strategies. A former freelancer and team lead, Karim blends product-focused UX improvements with hands-on delivery across Android, iOS, and backend integrations. Notably, he solved a long-standing analytics tracking issue for A/B testing and has a track record of shipping production apps end-to-end.
