Senior🎓
Top SchoolKarim Tarek is a founder and hands-on full-stack Shopify developer with over a decade of professional experience and 17+ years in web development, based in Victoria, BC. He builds bespoke Shopify solutions and apps—most notably FieldsRaven, which enables on-the-fly metafield creation via storefront app proxies to unlock advanced theme personalization and customer journeys. Karim blends deep front-end expertise (Liquid, HTML, JS) with back-end experience in Ruby on Rails and scalable architectures, having shipped features for agencies and enterprise clients as a Shopify Plus senior developer and consultant. His background spans real-time systems, UI design and automation, so he pairs product-thinking with practical engineering to reduce time-to-market and improve conversion. Known for offering an agency-level deliverable with a personalized touch, he often tackles problems others avoid, like exposing Metafields API safely on the storefront to enable dynamic user-driven experiences.
